So you need to apply for a study permit and show can find your studies. You will pay international fees. Expect at least a month or more for processing.

IRCC's website has an estimated processing time of 3 weeks. However people in the International Students section of the forum seem to be waiting a few months right now. I don't know if it's faster for refugee claimants.

My university never asked for my study permit although I got it so I can also get work permit + SIN…

I dont understand why a protected person needs a study permit. The university i enrolled in requires it.

kinda late but did you finally apply for a study permit? and if yes what info did u put as your passport? mine is expired and was seized..

Yes I got my study permit. August 2022. It took 2 weeks. I put a note saying it was expired and seized.
