I am a student studying in Canada have a valid study permit but visa got expired I applied for the visa but need to go back home india still the passport is with me. Can I leave and enter into canda back with a valid study permit and an expired visa.

Hello,
You need a valid visa to enter Canada. Study permit is not a travel document, so you cannot enter Canada if you have only a valid study permit when you return.
