Hello,
I am currently in Canada as a visitor, I would like to know can I apply for the study permit from within Canada?
I have gotten admission in University, but as I am on visit visa and want to apply for the study permit from within Canada. Can I apply online? or have to apply by paper?
Does anyone else has experienced this same situation? What are the documents requirements?
I am very worried as in September my classes will start.
I am currently in Canada on visitors visa, I have applied online through one of the law firm in downtown but in the application I have mentioned applying from my country of residence. And I'm willing to travel to my country as soon as I get the approval. I have applied 4 days back for sept.

Yes that's what I am gonna do and that's the reason I have mentioned that I applied from my country of residence otherwise I was gonna apply from LA.
U mean I need to go back immediately or I can go later on if I get the approval ?
Any body would like to advice on this ? I'm currently in Canada and applied online mentioning that I'm applying from my country of residence If it's ok to stay here in Canada to wait until I get the aproval then go back to my country ? Or I should leave immediately?

Thanks, I cannot apply from within Canada? I belong to Pakistan. while searching online some suggests I can apply from here and others say I cannot I am confused.
I'm originally from Pakistan but I reside in UAE with my family. I have a multiple visa valid till 2023 so I could easily travel I suppose.
When are u planning to apply ? If u have US visa and u don't wanna go to Pakistan u can apply from LA office

thanks, I don't have US visa, do you have? I also have multiple entry visa for Canada. My classes ll start soon from September 2. I guess it takes more time to apply from pak for the study permit. That is why I am worried.
Yes i have US visa as well valid till 2023
I had 2 choices either apply from US which takes about 4 weeks to process or UAE which is 7 weeks I hope I get the aproval and study permit on time my classes r gonna start from 5th September.
Yes if u apply from Pakistan it might take long, try to apply it at the soonest and do it online it is faster than paper based application. Good luck
