Dear all, please I want some advice on accompanying spouse
I have been offered admission for a PHd in building engineering into Concordia University for the winter session starting in January 2013..I applied for a study permit two months ago in Lagos Nigeria and also applied for a temporary resident permit for my wife as I want to go with her..my wife is 5months pregnant , do u think we would be given the visa? Can the visa of one person be rejected and the visa of the other approved? Please advise

Hi When your Medical will come it will be for both and doctor will issue you a letter of travelling as well.. Because what i heared uptill 7 month a pregnent lady can travel not later.. if you get an approvel from a registered doctor from canadian immigration yes you can go with your wife.... no issues..
Thank you very much for your response...my only concern is that my pregnant wife be allowed to go with me as I hear that women with pregnancy are usually refused visa
I think you will be granted the visa, considering its a phd. all the best
Hi,
did u and yyour wife get the visa? Please share your experience.
