Study Permit vs Sponsorship Visa

Hello,

I applied for my study visa around December 2020, I did my biometric April 2021. I got a Procedural Fairness letter which i have responded to with supporting documents around August 2021. Up till now, i have not heard back from Immigration. My Wife is Canadian and we got married last year July 2021. My questions are;

1. Can my wife file for the spousal visa while my student visa application is running (with the procedural fairness)
2. I saw some people reapplying on the new portal, is it advisable to do so as well?
3. Or do I need to wait till they respond back on the procedural fairness

First of all new portal is for visitors and tourist visa.

Go on visitor visa and then apply for work permit inland application, Since you have a Canadian spouse with good Proof of fund you will get work visa.

OP got a PFL before OP was married which may mean a 5 year ban from Canada. OP - you need to find out the status of your PFL. If you have a 5 year ban then you can’t be sponsored or enter Canada.
