"have you ever remained beyond the validity of your status, attended school without authorization or worked without authorization in CANADA" ?
This question is on page 4 of form IMM1294. I've been accepted to a DLI in BC to study a postgraduate degree. I also understand the importance of drafting a sincere Letter of Intent. But if I've NEVER stepped foot in Canada, but overstayed my US Visa by 1.5 years nearly 11 years ago, how do I answer ?
Need clarification, because the question states three offenses and connects them TO CANADA; of which I've never been.
Will it be misrepresentation to say my truth, or do I oblige to what I wasn't asked to avoid misrepresentation ? It's not as clear
