I am on study permit and temporary resident visa in Canada since last year. My (Indian) passport is expiring in Dec 2014, and is currently under renewal. While my study permit is valid till July 2015, the visa is only valid till Nov 2014. I guess this was because of my passport's expiry date.
My question is: What happens if my visa renewal process goes beyond my visa validity date? Would I have to go out of Canada and file for visa renewal from elsewhere?
