Study Permit - Singapore Office

Hi Guys,

I applied on 25th of April, through the Singapore Office for September 2018 intake. It has been 5 weeks now and I have not received any update yet !

They only asked additional documents for my transcripts and certificates for undergraduate and masters. After that I did not get any message.

I contacted them two times, once every two weeks, and they are saying that it is pending for the secondary clearance.


So anyone received the study permit for Sep. 2018 ?

Applied online to Singapore Visa office- April 12
Approval in principle received but instructed not to submit passport until passport submission letter is sent in mid-June - April 26
Letter to submit passport received - May 22
Passport submitted - May 23
Letter of Introduction received - May 25
Passport returned with TRV - May 28

Due to my nationality, background check is not required. Perhaps this is the reason for your delay.

Hi, guys, all of you got your visas I am facing a similar issue waiting for a year since no response could you please tell me what are the secondary clearances my work permit application got stuck with the process.
