Hi,

I have applied for study permit (paper based) on june 1st at chennai VFS and it is being processed in BLore VAC

My profile:

Course : Graduate certificate - Health Informatics (1 year)
College : George Brown
Work experience : Dentist - one year; Medical officer at a health insurance TPA : 3 months
IELTS : overall 7 bands (L- 7,R-7,S-7,W-6.5)
12th : 94%
10th : 83%
UG : BDS - 75% no backlogs
Fees : one semester paid
GIC : CAD 10000

Qn. 1. Is one sem fee and GIC is enough for proof of funds?
2. When can I link my paper based visa to online?

They're not enough. You still have to show living/food/travel expenses for a year. The monthly payments from your gic won't cover those expenses.

Oh! My consultancy agent told me GIC and one sem fee is enough to file for study permit under spp category I have already filed for my visa

Dnt wry many people get visa with this..
Even i hav filed with first sem fee and gic and income mentiond in form
