Study Permit Restoration

Hello,

I am a student of University of Toronto and my study permit expired on July 31, 2015 and I applied for restoration on August 13, 2015. I know that i cant until I hear back from them. But I am really worried because my class start in 2nd week of September and if I don't hear anything from them I would not be able to attend classes.

My Question: Is there anyone who applied for study permit restoration recently? Do you know how long it would take given the processing time is too long? Any help or insight is highly appreciated. Pleaseee let me know. Thank You.

Restoration is taking 3-4 months to process these days. It's unlikely you will be able to restart your classes in September.

I got my study permit approved (restored and extended) today. If anyone is looking for the total processing time frame here it is:

Applied on August 12, 2015
Got Approved on September 09, 2015
