I applied for a Study permit on October 14th. My upfront medical was updated on November 3rd, but unfortunately, my visa application was rejected on November 6th.
Reasons given:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
In my SOP, I mentioned my wife and daughter, who will be staying in our home country. My wife is a doctor here. Gave all the supporting documents regarding family, marriage certificate, her employment docs. What can one do more to prove "significant family ties"? And any good resources online I can follow? Or because of the housing crisis or file backlog, they are rejecting through AI?

Thanks for your response.
For Masters program.
My program and total living cost was: 36,648 CAD/year (22400 tuition + rest living cost).
Total available Funds showed: 75,000 CAD (from Me and my wife's Savings). We are both working professional. And I wanted to go for Masters for better career growth back in my home country.

So you don’t have enough funds to pay for two years. Using all your funds to study in Canada. IRCC considers money in the bank account not future income. Issue may be private university too like Canada West. Most private universities are “credit mills” with only international students. Canada is cracking down on private schools and introducing new policies. Consider changing to a public university. Order GCMS notes for further reasons.

Thanks again for the insights! Yeah sure, I will order GCMS notes.
And I think I actually have enough funds for two years. 36,648 * 2 = 73,296. And I showed around 75k.
What's your thought about it?
If it's a private university, that's a big part of the problem. Private universities are garbage. Get admitted into a public university and then apply again.
