Study Permit rejected and After a letter to the office final decision removed

My study permit extension was rejected saying that I applied after expiry but I actually applied 10 days before the expiry date. They also gave me a voluntary departure form, which I complied with. With all the proof and explanation letter I physically mailed to their office and now that I am out of Canada trying to apply for a new permit, they reach back to me saying they are working on my study permit and if I am in Canada or outside. Also when I log into my IRCC portal I see that the Final Decision is now again back to pending and checking for eligibility. What should I do now? Is there a way to reach them faster or know what is happening to my application?

No way to expedite but you can send a webform or trying calling but you need a VPN since outside Canada.
