To avoid rejection based on immigration status, you should apply from your home country. You must be physically present in home country.

Yeah I understand that. But when I apply online doesnt the application go to the immigration office in canada. How do they know Im in my home country presently?

And also in one of the forms you have to show where applicant is residing?
Because Im midway my degree, that would mean I will still have to write Turkey? I mean wouldnt that create the same problem?

Im not sure which immigration status the VO is talking about. My current immigration status in Turkey or hes afraid I might not leave canada based on my proposed immigration status in Canada?

Current immigration status in turkey. You have no immigration status in Canada.
