I applied for a study permit and submitted bank statements ( term deposits ) from my and my father’s account. These are more than enough to cover my first year tuition and living costs.
however, I did not submit any other documents for proof of funds, such as income tax returns or property papers..
do you think the bank statements alone will be sufficient?
Property papers are not proof of funds. Neither are tax returns.
Depending on your age, if you are still solely dependent on your parents and there's enough money flowing in and out of the account (statement of at least 4 months), then it should be fine.
If you have paid your first year tuition already and included the receipt, that makes your case stronger.
I haven’t paid any tuition yet , it’s $44,000 a year , the portal hasn’t even opened yet
I’m 24 , dependent on my parents yes, and the statements are about 2 and a half pages long each, so about 5 pages in total.. September 2020- February 2021

You should have paid some of that tuition fee. You don't have to wait for registration to open to wire the money to your school. Just showing money in your account doesn't guarantee the VO that you will eventually go through with it. Paying a part of tuition shows you are likely committed.
Not much you can do now, so don't sweat it. If you are able to make the deposit and get a receipt, then do so. You can upload the receipt via webform. If you can't do that or if your application is already at an advanced stage, then don't worry about it.
