Study Permit: Parent Sponsorship (Proof of Means of Financial Support)

Hello,

I wanted to know if a parent is paying for my college tuition what documents should I be submitting as Proof of Means of Financial Support while applying for my study permit?
Do I need to submit the parent's bank statements along with any document that shows sponsorship?

I would like to add that I am paying for the GIC. Do I have to attach my bank statements as well?
It would be great to know if I need any document to declare sponsorship from the parent, what is that document?
