u no need to worry more as they will take long time to process your
application as well as they will send by usps which will be normal post.
it is little bit risky becs u will not track your passport and second thing
u apply in detroit that embassy is not good for warm response .better is buffalo.
any way u can send seprate envelope but its not guranteed that they will
add in your file docket as they r so ,.......
if u send for study permit thn i dont know about processing time of them
i send for my Trv becs i already have my study permit.
they took 35 days for my processing as they r taking more times thn buffalo
office.i advice that avoid them and apply in buffalo
Does anyone have an idea how long does it take for the Detroit Consulate to process a visitor visa application?
I am in Canada, I have a work permit, I just needed to get a visa to be able to travel to/from Canada. So I sent my application to Detroit Consulate, the mail went to P.O. Box in Windsor - in their directions on the website they allow you to send it to the PO Box in Canada... So it was delivered on 23rd of February.
On the website they say processing time min. 30 days.
I know they still have time, but I feel very worried for my passport and I don't know what to do and what are my rights in this situation...
So I will be thankful for any information.
I received visa stamped passport today from Detroit.
following is the timeline:
Docs received by Detroit: Feb 16, 12
I sent USPS envelop separately : Feb 27, 12
Passport received in USPS envelop : Mar 15, 2012
