Study permit on Valid Visit Visa question.

hello.

I’ve been searching the internet for days for a clear answer. I even called the Visa office but they couldn’t give me an answer.

If I already have a visit visa , can I apply for a student visa? And what happens to my visit visa if my study permit is rejected??

Experiences please.

Thanks for noticing my question

I’m not sure when I’ll be applying ! Most probably outside.
I’m outside and will still apply for a visit because we’ll be going for our vacation to our relatives and my husband will be attending Siggraph (3D technology event) in Vancouver. But I’m very interested in studying there too and I’m actually in the process of getting a letter of acceptance from a university but... I’m scared to apply for a study permit after getting our visit visas . What happens to our visit visas if I’m denied a study permit??
