Does anyone have an idea of how long does the study permit takes to be processed if I have applied online in Hong Kong? I applied July 14th and I still have not received any email.
 
Normal Processing time is 7 weeks. But I think due to the strike you are facing delay. Email CHC and see if they reply or not.
 
Why will you miss winter term isn't it in January? you have nearly 16 weeks till then.
 
I think you should prepare for deferring in Winter if you don't get any response by the last week of August.
