While you can visit Canada with a simple eTA, you cant study any course longer than 6 months without a study permit, you also cant work on a visitor visa. The process of obtaining admission to a school and getting a study permit can take several months so its best done from home. The official website is pretty clear on requirements and has processing times. This is all pre Covid, there are travel bans right now.
Hi there I got an admission for my master degree starting in fall 2020 and I want to apply for visa but because of the situation related to covid 19 pandemic, I understood that many of canadians centers where students permits application are processed are now closed until further notice. Moreoever canada have closed their borders since March. So I wonder how I will be able to travel do my master there ?As it's seem that canada will not allow any foreigners to enter ther country until at least september 2020, do you think that they will allow internationals studenst enter in their territory in january 2021 ?
