Study Permit for Minor Child

We applied for a dependent visa for spouse (Open work permit) and our child (Visitor Visa). Spouse's visa was granted, but our child's visa was rejected. The reason was " Minor children intending to study are required to apply for a study permit before entering Canada". Which category (visitor or child) should I use to reapply for my child?.

Note: My child is 7 years old. I attempted to apply for a study permit in IRCC and it is requesting the following information that the school does not know about. can you please help me on the below questions for minor child.
1. Provincial Attestation letter
2. have you been accepted to a designated learning institution.
3. SDC eligible GIC
