My 17 year old, a Nigerian has applied to uni & colleges in canada for Bsc Nursing .

Parents travel history _ canada , us , France, Switzerland.
Mum still have a Visiting visa to Canada that will explore in 2023 March .
She had done a biometric in 2019 but was refused a visiting visa to Cad .based on "ties in Canada " . Though her mum was given visa then .
Hope this will.not affect her new study permit application .
Also her Nigerian passport will be e piring in March 2023. & she I te d to travel Sept 2022, just some 5 months to her passport expiration Is it advisable to get another / renewal passport before we commence the visa application ?
