Study Permit Financial Requirements

Dear all,

I have been offered admission in MEng program at UWO in fall 2013. My three term fee is around 24000$. Now i have to get study permit. I have an Foreign Currency savers account from Jan 2013. It had balance of around 8000$, since march. I am planning to deposit all the cash required to cover my living expenses and tuition fee that should be around 35000$ by mid of may. Now i am confused, that my statement is acceptible. Secondly, to prove my source of funding, can i show property document such as agricultural land.
Furthermore i have savings of mine doing two year industry jobs around 7000$ and my father has savings as he is doing job for last 30 years.

Are you selling that land? Or you have a farm? Otherwise how it can help with funding?

Your savings, are they just in cash under you mattress or are they in the bank? The same question about your father's savings: does he keep them in the bank? Then get his and yours bank statements for couple of years.

I have put all my savings in my bank since three months around 10000$. Now i want to show the statement of this account. My mother is also selling her jewlery and after putting my fathers savings in my account. I will be able to show 35000$ roughly. My query is that i want to apply for study permit in mid of june. Would this statement be just fine, if i attach the said proofs

Hello.
I don't want to create new topic so I posted here.
I would like to take 2x8week ESL (fee is around 5200CAD) and then 2 years college program (the fee is around 12500CAD a year). Leaving expenses are 10000CAD a year. My question is if i have to have 5200 + 25000 + 20000 = +-50000CAD before i apply for study permit or it is enough if i will show them that i have the money only for first year and ESL which is around 33000CAD and i will get study permit for 2,5 years?

I hope you guys will understand what i mean and help me.

you must show a valid proof / source from where you are getting money. if u sell land or any house and show the sale deed and put the money in to ur account. its gonna work .... Hopefully.
