I have started my masters in canada in May 2023. My course length is two years.However, I have got visa upto April 24. When should I apply for study permit extension? Can I apply it in October 23? How much fund I need to show? Do I need Police clearance certificate from my home country?

Note that Study Permit and Visa are two different things. Permit allows you to stay and visa allows you to enter Canada. Please clarify which one is expiring.
