Im studying in a college in London Ontario while living in Ottawa, will this cause me a problem if I wanted to extend my study permit to take another program in the same college?

When did you start studying? Are your classes online?
Usually shouldn't be a problem, VO might see the different addresses and think why you are not in the same city.
As long as it's online learning, it shouldn't be a problem.
