Study permit extension. HELP!!!

Hi guys, i want to apply for my study permit extension, for my study permit, i used an agent and now he said he can’t give me the login to my gckey because he used his representative account and it has the profile of all his applicants. He told me to create a new account i just want to be sure if that is a correct step. Has anyone had this issue and applied for study permit extension using a new gckey account?
