I have applied back in April 1st for a study permit extension from inside canada. At same time, I applied for Spousal open work permit for my wife. However, my study permit got expired in June and still have not received any update from IRCC.
So my application is already over 7 months waiting and 3 months maintained status.
I talked to my MP, to a representative, university immigration advisor and sent several webforms and nothing new till now.
Any similar case? What should I do?

We have the similar case. My husband applied for his study permit extension and sponsored my work permit extension on Feb. We got the permit on September. It just took long time. Hope this could make you feel less panic.

Thanks, at least I am not alone in this situation.
Unfortunately, my wife is outside canada. Waiting is harder. Anyway, Let's hope to have an answer very soon.
