Hello everyone, i came on canada on last year April 2023 to study MBA. My course was for two years but i got visa only for 1 year ending on March 31 2023. Me and my spouse together applied for extension on february 2023 but has not got any decision till now. The main problem is in the temporary work permit extension letter that my spouse received, it is mentioned that “ Please attach this letter to your present work permit Number as proof that you are authorized to continue working under the same conditions as your original work permit until August 22, 2024 or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first.
I tried to raise webform multiple times but still my application has not even gone in review. We are really worried right now regarding my husband working conditions mentioned. Is he allowed to work after august 22? How can i reach ircc ? I tried to call them many times but their agent seems always busy. We have a huge problem going on back home as well. My father in law recently passed away and we cant even go because of this visa issue which is mentally draining us. Please if any experts have any advice it will be really appreciated.
