Hello everyone!

I have applied for a study permit and I am expected to start my program on 4th of September this year (assuming everything goes well).

However, my passport is set to expire on 12-02-2025. This means that my study permit will also expire on the same date.

I'm currently trying to renew my passport but my embassy(Sudan) is facing a huge bottleneck and only take appointment. Mine is in November which won't do. I'm trying to explain my situation to them but assuming this doesn't work, I can get them to extend my passport for a year.

It's basically a sticker that states that my passport will be valid until 2026. If I end up going with this route, will my study permit also be valid until then? Will I even be permitted to enter the country?

Thanks in advance!
