I obtained my study permit in 2013 and the printed expiry date is Dec 2017. I recently finished my bachelor's degree and would like to continue with a graduate program this September. And I'm very confused about the expiry date of my sp. I called CIC several times but always got "unable to transfer to a agent due to high volume of calls". So here're my questions:
1. Does my study permit expire 90 days after I get my bachelor's degree and I need to extend it now? Or does the 90 days policy apply only to sp obtain after mid 2014?
2. My graduate program is at a different university, do I need to inform CIC online that it would be different than the institution printed on current sp?

The date your study permit is the exact date that is written on your permit. .... you can change your institution it is not a problem and you don't need to notify them about it when you apply for extension with the new offer of admission letter they will see the school you are changing to.....You must apply for extension at least from 90 days BEFORE it expires....NOT 90 days after it expires.
