Hi
I recently renewed my passport which is scheduled to arrive at my hands next week.
However, My study permit expires on the 25th April this month. Although I am done with my final exam on the 20th and graduating in June 20, I still need to apply for study permit extension before 25th so that I can apply for PGWP by end of May (assuming my study permit will get approved by then).
Now my question is since I only have a handful of days till my permit expires, will there be any issue if I apply for study permit extension before the expiry date?

You must apply for an extension (with a valid passport) before the expiry of your current permit. If you failed to do so, you will be out of status and your only option will be restoration of status where there is no guarantee you will be approved.
