Study Permit Delay.

Does anyone have information on why there’s a delay in study permit processing time? It’s 26weeks today and I still haven’t heard anything aside from the update on passed medicals since Aug

Backlog, covid, huge number of applications are the reasons. Have you started eligibility review?

Raise a webform and try to contact your VAC via email. Not much else to do but to wait.

Also, if you want you can apply to GCMS notes to see what is happening with your application but you will receive a reply between 30-90 days so chances are you will already have a decision before receiving the notes. But still, nothing to lose but a couple of CAD...

I have not received any update other than I passed my medicals, this was since Aug 24th.
