Hey Everyone,
I applied for study permit in Aug 2020 for Jan 21 intake from UAE. I received my study permit on passport today. I also applied for visit visas for my husband and infant baby together with my study permit application. I have not heard anything back about their visas, not even BVL! I have sent web forms to IRCC Abu Dhabi three times in 3 months and no response! Can anyone guide me? Did anyone go through a similar problem? Please HELP
Well visitor visa processing times for visitor visas are 390 days from UAE. So expect an answer in August. You can’t expedite processing. Sending webfroms will not help until after processing times have lapsed. So in August if you haven‘t heard then follow up.

Why didn't you go for a SOWP ? Visitors VISA will take a long time.

Agree your spouse should have applied for open work permit. What was your husband going to do on a visitor visa?

SOWP could not be applied for the baby, plus processing time is longer than Visitor Visa at the application submission

Then you will need to wait. As mentioned you can’t expedite the process.

Visit visa will take time, due to covid visit visas are processed really very slow.
Can u share us ur processing time, tie-up shown in country of residence and home country
