If I put by mistake the incorrect passport number on a study permit extension application, i put my payment receipt number without noticing,but i send them my passport copy which has all my details, will the immigration office be strict enough to actually reject me? and if they do, how many times does a person have the right to reapply for a study permit extension... Please reply soon

You can try sending them a letter stating your honest mistake. Cite your file number on your letter.
