Study permit application stuck in Etobicoke

So I've had my study permit application transferred to the office in Etobicoke around mid-October and I haven't heard anything ever since. Not to mention the application itself has been submitted at the beginning of September. I've been trying everything there is to get their attention that processing time has long passed. I had my local MP inquire about the issue but she couldn't tell me when my application will be finalized. She just said that since it was referred to Etobicoke it can take longer. I requested ATIP a week ago and I also emailed the office in Etobicoke about the issue. I'm supposed to start school on May 9th but I'm not sure about that either. Did anyone have a similar experience? If so, how long did it take?
