study permit and visa extension

I have applied for my study permit extension but I will be able to apply for visa extension after I get that.
- what if I do not get a decision on study permit extension and both my study permit and visa expires on the same day?
- can I stay in Canada or I have to leave?
I applied in on 5th April for my study permit extension and got no update from CIC, anyone who is facing the same problem please share an update about your application processing

You will have Implied Status after your current permit expires until IRCC makes a decision on the extension app.

The validity of your TRV has nothing to do with your status in Canada.

I applied for Study Permit Extension on 16th of March. My study permit expired on 20th of March and I have already graduated. Yes you can extend your TRV once your study permit is extended.
