Study permit and the course length

I am currently pursuing 12 months 3 terms course in edmonton, Alberta. Now if I take another course of 6 months and 1 semester. That becomes total of 4 semesters which is equal to 2 year study permit. So Will I get the extended 3 year work permit?

Really depends on the 6 month program. Most 6 month programs do not require a study permit and do not qualify for PGWP

To be eligible for PGWP, program would have to be at least two semesters.
