Hello..I got admission into a Canadian university for masters program (May 2021 term). I have applied for my study permit along with an OWP for my spouse. Recently read on a forum that spouse OWP takes upto 47 weeks from UAE. So my question is, is it possible that i get my study permit first and my spouse's OWP remains in process? Or my study permit will remain on hold till they give approval or rejection for my spouse? Looking forward to hearing from people who have been in a similar situation or who have knowledge about this.
Thanks

You will either get refused together or receive PPR at the same time. I did make a thread about it on forum since I received a decision earlier than my spouse. Hope it helps!
