I have been accepted by the University of Alberta for a PhD program for September 2012. I am being funded my advisor with $21000 for first year. The university has asked me to bring (if possible ) 1st semester tuition fee and 1 month living expenses.
Now according to a clause written in University checklist " an educational loan comprising 80% of 1 year tuition fee and 1 year living expenses"- do I need to apply for an educational loan? Or do I need to show any other finances to show my 1st semester tuition fee and 1 month living expenses?
I would be really thankful to you if anyone can reply at the earliest. Really In a fix!!!!

as u already got in.hopefully u can help me out.
i am really confused.i dont know from where to start applying.
kindly help me.
what should i do.???
plz help.
Do attach your funding letter with it.. Well it must be written in your offfer letter already..
What i will recommend you, to take an education loan against property, this will strengthen ur home ties and will help the VO to access that you will come to home after studies..
And it will certainly add more strength to your file...
