Study Break Personal History

Hi everyone, I have a question about the personal history section in the PR application. My wife was on a study break for over a period of one year because of her pregnancy, so in such a case how do I mention that in the personal history? do I need to select her activity as a student and then mention she was on a break or do I select her as unemployed? would like to also add that she is not the primary applicant.
