Hi,
I’m from Pakistan and I applied for my visa via student direct stream process on August 16th. It has been more than 3 weeks now. I haven’t received a response from them yet.
my University classes have started online, I’m doing the from Pakistan. Now I want to confirm that the rule that the government of Canada announced regarding PGWP, was it that even if we take online classes from any other country, our online time still gets counted towards PGWP as long as we do apply before classes start. Does this also count for people applying for visa through the student direct stream process?
but the problem is we do need an approval-in-principle before September 15th to qualify for this, right? Can someone confirm this?
what should I do now? Are there chances I receive my approval-in-principle by that date?
They are currently working on July applications and some early August (based on AIPs on this forum yesterday). Chances are low before 15 but fingers crossed!
