Student visa sds

I applied for student visa on 29th march and on 1 april my file was under process at ircc office however i yesterday i got acknowledgement letter from delhi immigration , can anyone tell how long it will more take

This is for SDS visa.
1. wait for the medical update which will be issued probably in 2-3 working days after student acknowledgement letter
2. Once you get medical passed notification. Again in 1-2 business days you will receive biometrics correspondence letter [at this stage a decision on your visa is already made]
3. For SDS Online, Again in 1-2 business days you will will be asked for your passport via e-mail, if your visa is being issued. For offline you can see approved status in CIC.

This has been the pattern for the candidates who applied for study permit online in the last 20 days

I don’t have the biometrics correspondence letter or student acknowledgment letter but my CIC portal showed medical passed on 13 April. I had applied on 23 March. Biometrics updated on 28 March. Online SDS Mode Of Visa. So are you sure about the timeline?

I have another friend who submitted offline general visa around my date and has just gotten his medical update in CIC yet.
