My student visa was refused a while back for the following reason;
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status."
What does this mean? I live in The United States under a DACA status and hold Kenyan citizenship. I applied from The United States. Will it help if I go to Kenya and apply from there?
Would it help my case if I cut my ties off from the DACA program and went to Kenya and applied? Im in desperate need of help. My classes start on September 4th for The University of Toronto and I need my student visa by then.
I don't think it would be a good gamble. You might never know how the DACA project tends out. I don't think it is prudent to sever ties with the project just for an unguaranteed study permit application.

I don't really want to stay in America anymore. My entire family wants to leave. I've been accepted into an amazing university, would or would it not help my case?
I have family in Kenya, business, finances, and property to show ties.
Thank you! I have sent in an order. It'll take 35-40 days, and normal processing times for Kenyan applicants at the moment is 6 weeks. Do you think I can apply and obtain my visa on early August and fly to Canada for school?
Irrespective of whether you leave or not/ keep ties or sever ties these DACA thing shall follow you. The best you could do to help yourself is to know the exact reason of your refusal in order to address it.
