Hi Everyone,

I am in a very bad situation. I came here in Canada on a tourist visa last year in July 2015 (visa was valid until December 2015). I decided to apply for a student visa in a Management course (my background is - Science ).I accidentally posted my file to the wrong office and it came back. by that time my status was expired so i applied for restoration about which the result has not come yet. In the meanwhile I applied for student visa again in a course (related to my previous field of study) via LA office. I got a refusal on the basis that the officer was not convinced that i would go back and the course would not benefit me ( i have masters in Pharma and i have applied for certificate course in college). The officer has asked an explanation regarding these issues. i need help in deciding that whether should i take risk to reapply again while i wait for my restoration application decision or just go back to my home country?

Thanks,
Tisha

It makes no sense to be taking a college certificate after a Masters. If you want to have any chance of being approved given you're already in Canada and can't show ties to your home country - you need to be applying for another Masters or for a PhD. If you're not willing / able to do that then I wouldn't bother reapplying.
