Student Visa Processing Location

Hello,

I have applied for student permit last week of May and haven't received an update yet.
I am on H4 visa in USA for last 5 years.
When I see processing time for USA, it is 4 weeks and for India, it is 7 weeks.

Will my processing time come under USA or India? I am an Indian Citizen.

Hey, you can check under North American Embassy. We are a bunch if students who are applying from the US. There’s also the thread called 8 weeks but no reply or something like that. It’s all for students applying from the US.

And I assume your application migt take a little longer based on what i have read here.
