I am an Indian passport holder. I used to study in Canada but now study in England. However, my student visa is valid till september 2013. Can I still visit Canada on a holiday on this visa???

Only if you have a valid TRV (Visitor Visa) in your passport.

Study visa does guarantee entry to Canada. You need a valid temporary resident visa to do so!

you have to provide your current status as student.....every time you enter canada as a student u have to show study permit or
student ID ....if you still have any one of thm which is still valid you can pass through immigration...
