STUDENT VISA AND SPOUSAL OWP - PLEASE HELP!!

Hi Everyone

I applied online on October 7 for my student visa and my husbands OWP. We live permanently in the UK and I am a British Citizen. We have not heard anything back from the Embassy as of yet and I am very worried that I will not hear anything back before my classes are due to start. I will not be able to get a refund of my fees unless I have a refusal letter from the Canadian Embassy aswell.

Can people who have applied as couples please advise how long it took to hear anything back from the Visa Office. Their emails refer us to the processing times on the CIC website but does it refer just to the student visa processing times or the work permit + student visa processing times? There seems to be less applicants as couples on this forum but those of you who have any experience please advise! I completely regret applying online and I would definitely recommend that people apply through VFS innthe UK as there are no contact numbers available to enquire.

online Application procedure is the worst facility given by CIC and everyone regret at last.. applying through VFS is safe, straight forward and easy...

I applied Online, It was Processed in time, I applied on 22nd July Got Medical on 23 Aug... : )

You Need to write to your Canadian Embassy they will surely Give you response

hav u checked link page.. There is a email id where u can send the polite reminder to cic abt ur case and ask them ur staus. Check 2nd link.. U hav to wait bcz if u cancel ur app then again u dont hav a time to apply again for jan 2014 intake.. Wait for 1 more week and check both links with properly .. Sure u get some hint there.. Otherwise i m available for further help..
