I am finding the Dual Intent concept a bit fuzzy. The scenario is as follows:
I would like to immigrate to Canada one day, and have an express entry profile and SINP EOI profile. I don't have enough points on either profiles and now I decided to apply for a student visa to increase my chances of eventually getting the required points or try other immigration pathways.
1) Does having an express entry profile and this 'intent' to eventually immigrate characterize "dual intent" ?
2) In my application for student Visa, should I mention something along the lines "I have an express entry profile but no invitation to apply or expectancy of being invited anytime soon due the low score so I at this time I will only study and get back to Brazil, when I will then restart my efforts on immigration".
3) Is there a 'Dual Intent' specific document/letter that needs to be provided in the Student Visa Application or it's just the semantics of the explanation letter that characterizes a dual intent?

Hi,
I am in the same situation as you. Would appreciate some information on what you did. 1)Did you apply for the student visa mentioning dual intent?
2) Did you make a separate profile for EE profile and student visa?

Don't mention dual intent. These words seem to create more problems than they solve. Apply for the student visa normally showing ties to your home country.
