Hi,
So I am in the process of applying to Canada for my student permit. I am in doubt regarding my fathers bank statement. We donot have much money in the account (Less than 20k Saudi Riyals) and I need to show an approximate amount of 72k Riyals. I will take a bank loan to cover this up.
But how do I show it in the application process? Should I send them papers telling them I have student loan? Will this reduce my chances of getting a visa?
Moreover, how can I show ties to my country? I am from Pakistan but have been living in Saudi Arabia since 2007.
its not actually true that a student loan would ruin your chances of getting a study permit approval in fact you might be surprise of its importance compare to a bank account less than $20k
When writing your state of purpose(sop) just try to convincingly analyze the financial part to the Visa officer's acceptable attention
you can show family, properties, employment and leave letter, investments etc can be use as home ties

Are you applying for bachelors or masters? The thing is though i would agree with @Johnsnow 007 that it wont ruin your chances but the Visa officer will think of the fact that you are taking a loan of a huge amount and he may think about how do you plan to return it in the future. You have to mention how these studies will help you in your professional life otherwise spending a huge amount of money on an education which wont give a good financial return would seem stupid and the VO may assume that your primary purpose would be to settle in Canada and return the loan back that way by working there which they do not want you to hence they may refuse you for not being a bona fide student.
