I would like to ask something about our current status.
I am an international student but I found an employer who sponsored/hired me thru LMIA.
While my LMIA is on process, my study permit expired so I have to apply for extension. I was issued an acceptance package by my school and supposed to start May 5. But I only received my new study permit June 27. I emailed my school to issue me a revised acceptance package but they havent sent me anything except that they told me over the phone that I will start Sept 9.
Today, Aug 15, I received my positive LMIA, which I can now use to apply for work permit.
Questions:
1. Do I still need the new acceptance package?
2. Do I still need to wait until my school starts to apply for work permit?
