Anyone here who successfully changed their permit from student permit to closed work permit (LMIA exempt)?

Currently, I hold a student permit and still have about 3 terms of schooling, but I was able to get a job offer then got nominated (OINP job offer stream).

Now, I will apply for a closed work permit (LMIA exempt). Has anyone here experienced the same thing?
